Maybe it’s because I love Mark Hamill and his beard to bits, but I can’t imagine Grand Jedi Master Luke as anything other than “everybody’s favorite uncle who also happens to be a badass but doesn’t flaunt it”.
I also imagine younglings fall asleep during meditation a lot.

I find your lack of social skills disturbing, and you should listen to your son, he’s always right about you =P
LOL so Star Wars + Mean Girls meme = Mean Jedi…? XD
IDK, this thing’s been lying in my drafts for a while, and I need more Skywalker family in my life. And also - I’m still very bitter about the Twi’lek females not having ears, this makes absolutely no sense! (Lucas why??? <_> )
"There’s a Twi’lek woman on TV and she ain’t no dancing girl!"
I just keep feeling like Hera would be to Twi’leks what Uhura was to black women—a role that was typically relegated to a position of servitude and scenery is now being put right on the bridge. She’s the captain, she’s the leader, she’s going to have fight scenes and action sequences and be giving the mission briefings…she’s not wearing skimpy clothing, either. She’s not here to give fanservice to the men, she’s here to inspire women.
I don’t know how many Twi’leks are actually going to watch this show, of course, but if they do, I’m sure this is going to be important to them. :)
And this is one of the reasons that makes me like this character, even if the show didn’t start yet.
Guess who finally reached lvl 55? It’s Jarenik’s adopted kid.
Hera the beautiful rebel Twi’lek ^_^
